Employees are arranged to work from home or office, you need to declare the employee's working location so that they can check-in/check-out.
Create a New Workplace
- Step 1. Go to Settings menu under Timesheets & Leave module from the left sidebar
- Step 2. Select the Settings menu -> click on the Allow attendance by coordinates
- Step 3. Go to Workplace menu under Timesheets & Leave module from the left sidebar
- Step 4. Select Workplace tab -> click on the Add button
- Step 5. In the New workplace popup, fill in the following details:
1. Enter the Name
2. Enter the Workplace address
3. Enter the Latitide and Longitude or click on My location button ( enable GPS to get Latitude and Longitude)
4. Enter the Radius (m): the distance between the employee and the workplace must be less than or equal to this radius for the employee to check-in/out successfully.
5. Click on the Set default. When assigning workplace to employees in the Workplace Allocation tab, if no workplace is selected, the system automatically takes the default workplace to assign.
When creating the first workplace, if you don't check the Set default option but click Save=> after saving, the Set default option will automatically check. - Step 6. Click on the Save button
Edit Workplace
To edit the details of an existing workplace:
- Step 1. Go to Workplace menu under Timesheets & Leave module from the left sidebar
- Step 2. Select the workplace need to be edited and click Edit button
- Step 3. Make the necessary changes and click Save button
Delete Shift
If a workplace is no longer operational, you can delete it. To delete a workplace:
- Step 1. Go to Workplace menu under Timesheets & Leave module from the left sidebar
- Step 2. Select the workplace need to be deleted and click Delete button
- Step 3. Confirm your selection in the following pop-up. The workplace will be deleted.
